Mississippians go to the polls November 3

Mississippians will soon have the chance to vote in the midterm elections, selecting one U.S. Senator as well as a U.S. Representative in each of our state's four congressional districts.  At YVote, we believe educated voters who understand the impact Congress has on our everyday lives can and will move Mississippi forward!

Unsure about your status?  Call your circuit clerk and ask about your eligibility to vote in the November 3 election.  If you believe your name should be on the registered voter list, go to the polls on November 3 and fill out an affidavit ballot at your precinct.  It will be up to election officials to determine whether your ballot counts. Not registered?  Click below to download a voter registration application.  The deadline to register for the November 3 election was October 5, but you have until November 1 to register to vote in any runoff election, which will take place December 1.

​Are you a Senior or plan to be out of town on Election Day?  Vote early absentee (in person or by mail). Absentee voting starts September 19, and the last day for in-person absentee voting is October 31.
